Weisser Distributing was founded in Tea, South Dakota in 1978 by Eric’s father, Bob Weisser. Now headquartered in Sioux Falls, Weisser Distributing provides fulfillment services for dozens of marketplaces and has become one of the fastest growing employers in the Midwest.
Eric discusses leaving his teaching career to join his father’s business, then getting fired for six months. He describes a “magic moment” he discovered when he rejoined Weisser Distributing: finding success selling on Amazon and Ebay. Weisser Distributing saw significant growth, which allowed them to hire nearly one employee per month for eight consistent years.
